The Grassroots Empowerment Initiative (GEN) working with local NGOs and the most disadvantaged villagers, particularly the Meo tribal people, to contribute to the elimination of poverty in Rajasthan, India. Our goal is to give villagers the skills and support they need to take charge of improving their villages and own family lives. These enable the women to earn a small income to supplement their traditional farming activities. and many of them use this to pay for education for their daughters. |
